TOP 10 OF THE LATEST SAP BUSINESS ONE UPDATE
1. SAP BUSINESS ONE OFFICE 365 INTEGRATION
You can now use the SAP Business One Office 365 Integration feature to export documents, reports and queries to Microsoft OneDrive as Word or Excel files, and view them online. You can also design your own export templates.
2. EXPANDED DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
Attachment tabs now allow customers to manage their attachments throughout the system. Locations of management include: inventory counting, production order, deposit, incoming payment, outgoing payment, inventory posting, inventory opening balance, checks for payments, time sheet, and journal entry.
3. EXPANDED CUSTOMIZATION
Improved User Defined Fields (UDF) allow filtering within activity reports and customize document headers by UDF. Previously, UDFs on the document row (in an items and service document) could not be updated after the document was added or closed. As of SAP Business One 10.0 patch level 01, you can set the UDFs on marketing document rows to be editable regardless of the document type/row status/document status.
4. INTERACTIVE GANTT CHARTS
Improved interactive Gantt Charts are available to more easily make updates and work with Project Management.
Make changes directly in Gantt Charts to update project details.
Move Gantt Chart time bars of subprojects and project stages to update project timelines for planning purposes.

5. SALES & PURCHASE ENHANCEMENTS
This latest version includes the printing of service calls and contacts, more features to backorder reports, and removal of blank lines in addresses allows for a cleaner user experience.
6. CREATE QR CODES
Create QR (Quick Response) codes on the print layouts of marketing documents. Enter the information required to create QR codes onto the accounting tab of marketing documents; for A/R sales and A/P purchase documents the new field is labeled Create QR Code From. QR code information can be added manually, by DI input, or by using a formula in a formatted search. The source for QR codes can also be user-defined fields that are called by API. An API service and a free open source library are available for partners to create QR codes.
7. REPORTING FEATURES
Batch management updates serial numbers and batches for A/R reserve invoices and inventory transfer requests. You now can display the destination warehouse code and name through “Form Settings” when you update serial numbers or batches for inventory transfers or inventory transfer requests.
Forward and Reverse Batches and Serials Trace Report
Track and trace the complete supply details of any batch or serial item to production and customers.
8. EXTENSIBILITY
Previously, Service Layer only supported SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA. As of release 10.0 patch level 01, Service Layer also supports SAP Business One that runs on Microsoft SQL Server. Increasing support for one of it’s most popular server options provides customers with further options for their databases.
9. DOCUMENT PRINTING
Form Settings is now enabled in the Document Printing window. You can choose to show additional fields in sales and purchasing documents, as well as good receipts and more. Printing and mailing multiple service calls or service contracts at a time is now at your fingertips.
10. NEW WEB CLIENT
Web Client for SAP Business One takes their existing Fiori dashboard an UI5 technology to create an external facing web client with SAP Fiori user experience principles. Beyond the slick skin upgrade the features available today (that rivals any cloud-exclusive ERP) here are the latest upgrades for this formidable platform.
